Summing up motherhood in just six words is no easy task. But more than 7,000 Well readers did just that, entering their short memoirs as part of our Six-Word Momoirs contest.
The challenge was to explain your mother, someone else’s mother or motherhood in general in just six words. Six contest winners will be named at the end of this post, while several of the best entries will be featured during Smith Magazine’s Six-Word Memoir Story Slam, “I Am Turning into My Mother,” to be held tomorrow, May 18, at the 92nd Street Y Tribeca Main Stage in New York.
